General Rules & Regulation

  • School hours are from 9:30 am to 3:30 p.m. Students must be in the school premises by 9:20 am.
  • School begins with a prayer during which all should maintain a respectful demeanour.
  • Staying away from class is not excused except for very serious reason, such as, sudden illness or unforeseen circumstances. No leave of absence is granted without previous written application from the guardian stating the reason.
  • The reason for leave of absence must be entered by the guardian in the leave Absence Record in this Diary
  • Students must re-join and continue classes after the holidays from the re-openning day. The breach of this rule will be considered a grave offence. In extreme case, his / her name may be struck off from the Register.
  • A pupil who has been absent from class for more than five days shall attend class only after his granting of leave of absence by the Principal or Vice Principal in the 'Absence Record'.
  • No late-comer will be allowed to enter his / her class without the permission of Principal/ Vice Principal. Students habitually late are liable to be punished.
  • For irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience to a teacher, a student is liable to be fined or even expelled.
  • Any damage done to the school premises and furniture shall have to be made good by the concerned student. The decision of the principal regarding this shall be final.
  • Students themselves are responsible for the safe custody of their books and belongings.
  • No student will be allowed to enter the class without school uniform even for a single day.
  • Besides the Unit Tests, there are two examinations in a year the Half - Yearly and Selection / Annual Examination. Absence from any examination will be strictly dealt with.
  • The School Diary must be maintained regularly with due signature from the Guardian. Parent's/ Guardian's name should not be changed without prior intimation to the Principal.
